The Young Israel of Hillcrest serves a vibrant modern orthodox community in the heart of semi-suburban Queens. FROM MANHATTAN: Long Island Expressway (495) eastbound to Kissena Boulevard exit. Continue on service road until 164th Street, make a right turn on 164th Street and go to Jewel Avenue. Make a left onto Jewel Avenue for 5 blocks until 169th Street.

FROM LONG ISLAND: Northern State Parkway (Grand Central) westbound to 168th Street exit. Make a right turn on 168th Street and go to Jewel Avenue. Make a right onto Jewel Avenue and go 1 block to 169th Street.

FROM BROOKLYN: Belt Parkway towards Queens/JFK Airport. Take Van Wyck towards Whitestone Bridge. Get off at Jewel Avenue exit. Make a right onto Jewel Avenue, heading towards Main Street, Kissena Boulevard. Go about 20 blocks on Jewel avenue to 169th Street.

TRAIN: Take E or F train to Continental Avenue, Forest Hills. Take Q65A bus (stop is on Queens Blvd. in front of triangular block with bank). Take bus to last stop, which is 164th Street and Jewel Avenue. Walk to 169th Street.

BUS: The QM4 Express Bus from Manhattan, which you can pick up along 6th avenue, between 36th Streets and 57th Streets, then on 57th Street going east from Madison Avenue to 3rd Avenue, comes just blocks away from the Shul. Get off at Jewel Avenue and 164th Street and walk the remaining 5 blocks to 169th Street.
